Kim tells of her experience within Mormonism from the perspective of a Jack Mormon. She believed in the teachings of the LDS church, but did not attend church meetings regularly. Kim was raised in a small Mormon town of Manti Utah. The Mormon population of Manti Utah is very high. Kim relates how members of the LDS church judged her for her lifestyle. Kim felt isolated and began searching for the truth.

Zach finishes his story by explaining his new relationship with Jesus. Before Zach was saved, Zach viewed God as a mean bully with a magnifying glass. His new understanding of God has given Zach a deep appreciation for the love of God.

Zach tells about his journey from Mormonism into biblical Christianity. Zach’s extended family history stretched to the foundation of Mormonism and Zach explains how his mother, father, and grandmother taught him to believe in Joseph Smith. During Zach’s teenage years he made some decisions that forced him to live at a state group home. As problems developed in his life, Zach began exploring other belief systems. For a time Zach embraced Wiccan beliefs, atheism, and Buddhism. Although Zach searched everywhere for answers, his life changed as he began reading the Bible.
